07.25.11 - An eventful urban circuit providing amazing entertainment!

AMOS, July 23rd, 2011 – Today, the urban circuit in Amos took place, animating the
streets and bringing citizens together for amazing entertainment.

Safety played a major role in this sixth stage during which a few adjustments had to be made in
regards to the bridge. The situation was quickly resolved and showed teams as well as
spectators that safety always comes first. Overall an animated route that ended without any
major incident. An action packed circuit that must have been very stimulating for the cyclists who
raced under the cheering of the crowds gathered all along the route.

Today’s winners of the jerseys were exactly the same as yesterday. James Oram from New-
Zealand seems to have definitely taken possession of the brown jersey since once again tonight
he mounted the highest step of the podium. Thibaut Boulanger from France happily followed to
take possession of the orange jersey and finally, Colby Wait-Molyneux joined them to take
possession of the blue jersey.

As to the teams, Kazakhstan has played hard and was aggressive all along the circuit, often
attempting breakaways. France once again distinguished itself thanks to another great
performance by Thibaut Boulanger who won a third stage today. Following closely, Alex Darville
from the USA team won the silver. The proud winner of the bronze medal, Anthony Morel, also
distinguished himself by mounting the podium for a third time.

Tomorrow is D day since it is the last stage of the Tour, leaving Barraute in direction of Amos at
3h pm. Come cheer the cyclists who will arrive in town at around 4h15 pm.
